In addition, the Rural Discovery Destination Marketing Fund donated $1.5 million to the City over a period of 15 years for the naming rights of the Pomeroy Sport Complex. The City has received $500,000 in the first 3 years. Pomeroy Lodging employs 272 people in Fort St John and pays more than $1 million/year in municipal taxes.
